Art quilts by Luke Haynes

These are amazing! I’m working on my first quilt right now (my great-grandmother started it, and I am finishing it). Definitely not the usual, rigidly geometric quilt patterns I’ve been seeing. Very inspiring!

Christoph Niemann – I LEGO N.Y.

Graphic artist Christoph Niemann misses NYC. He built these ingenious Lego representations of memories of his old home. I don’t get all of them, not being as familiar with the city myself, but I still got a kick out of his clever pixels.

My favorites:

Be sure to check out Niemann’s own site, which has several galleries of his graphic work. Really cool stuff.

Erwin Wurm’s art includes fat cars, fat houses, melting architecture, and amusingly perverse photography.
